JOIN THE CLIMATE CLUB IN GÖDÖLLŐ

MEASURE THE RESULTS,
AND COMPARE IT WITH OTHERS

Bring along your family and friends as well

Anybody can join the Club, there is no age limit and no previous climate knowledge is required!
Participation is free.
You do not need and cannot fight climate change alone! The task is too big for a single climate fighter to achieve significant changes. Even if we are aware of the clear link between our energy consumption, carbon dioxide emission and global warming, it is not simple to change our comfortable consumers’ way of life that we are so much used to overnight.
That is why we established the Climate Club. It is meant to be a place where

  • enthusiasts like us, who are ready to do something gather once a month.
  • we share our knowledge, questions and worries about climate change and also learn new things.
  • we collect and find out simple, realistic and easy to implement energy saving ideas.
  • at home we do our best to put them into practice.
  • we follow the reduction in energy consumption and carbon dioxide emission.
  • we enter our low carbon household competition by comparing the results.
  • we enjoy the achieved results together, which is tons of carbon dioxide not emitted thanks to our club members!

Who are we?
Our Foundation with the name GreenDependent was established in Gödöllő in 2005. As members of the foundation we enthusiastically research, shape and teach the sustainable ways of living, production methods and consumers’ habits.
The launch of Climate Club is supported by the European Commission 7th Framework Programme in Research and Development.
